A Place for Networking

With its many and varied attractions, Pure Village at the imm cologne provides a place for exchange and inspiration.

A trade show presentation that conveys a surprising experience to visitors – that's what Pure Village at the imm cologne is all about. With its own special brand of intimate aesthetics, an open atmosphere and its many and varied attractions, the segment in Hall 2.2 provides plenty of space and scope for new interior design and interesting contacts. The nature of the presentation reflects the increasingly important role that integrated solutions are playing in architecture and design: in Pure Village, exhibitors don't just show their market-ready new products, they create cross-references between different product ranges in the form of new interior concepts as well.

A diverse mix
In Pure Village, a colourful mix of furniture, furnishing elements, accessories, interior solutions, multimedia and textiles provides a wealth of variety and inspiration. Thanks to the interlinking of different product ranges and the focus on interior concepts, the trade fair format provides an ideal setting for the presentation of hybrid interior designs. This is where manufacturers – perhaps a bathroom specialist and a furniture producer – come together to implement new joint concepts. Constellations like living and working play a role, as do furnishings for private homes and larger-sale contract projects. Staging the presentations in the context of such wide-ranging furnishing solutions is guaranteed to generate creative impetus.

Meeting point for exhibitors and visitors
Thanks to the open structure of the hall and its modular booth design, the focus in Pure Village is very definitely on the products and installations. Both established names and up-and-coming brands and designers can present their new products and ideas in the individually designed space modules. An environment inspired by urban structures permits encounters and communication: rather than running parallel to one another as in other trade show presentations, the paths in the design village lead to a central square that serves as a permanent meeting place for exhibitors and visitors alike.

Inspiration and relaxation
At the same time, the atmosphere in Pure Village creates the right balance between inspiration and relaxation: besides the varied architecture of the trade show, there is also a café, The Stage – a forum for lectures and discussions on current furnishing trends – as well as the "Das Haus – Interiors on Stage" installation by Danish Designer Louise Campbell. In short, it is a setting with a pleasant atmosphere for informal gatherings that provides exhibitors and visitors alike with a place for networking and exchange: architects meet designers, colour consultants swap ideas with contract furnishers, interior designers meet bathroom planners and lighting engineers get together with interior decorators. At the coming imm cologne from 13 to 19 January 2014, inspiration and contact will again be playing the leading role in the Pure Village show.
